This on-site, contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver exceptional anesthesia care within a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes throughout surgical and medical procedures. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care to patients
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments to evaluate patient health and risk factors
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
• Monitor and manage patient vital signs throughout surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure safe care delivery
• Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management support to patients
• Document all anesthesia-related care accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond promptly and effectively to anesthesia-related emergencies
• Adhere to established safety protocols and healthcare regulations at all times

Requirements

• Associate-level experience in nurse anesthesia practice
• Current CRNA certification and valid state licensure in Winona
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacological agents, and monitoring equipment
• Proficiency in patient assessment, critical care monitoring, and airway management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site clinical environment
• Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making abilities
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and high-quality care standards
• Flexibility to adapt to varying surgical schedules and case types

Schedule: 7:30a - 3:15p

Call Requirement: Beeper call, every 6th weekend

Daily Census: 20 per day

6 Ors and 1 endo suite

Required Procedures: General surgery, plastics, orthopedics, podiatry, gynecology, neurospine, pain management, and pediatric dental

EMR: Oracle Health Cerner

Must be board-certified
